Labeling is the process of designing and creating labels for products. Labeling is the part of the packaging, where the required information is given in the form of a label. The information includes the brand name, grade, description, etc., on the product.

Definition of Packaging

Packaging can be understood as the various activities associated with the design and manufacture of suitable packages, i.e. containers or wrappers for products, which are used to protect, transport, promote, store and identify products.

Labeling is mainly used to provide all relevant information about products to customers such as quality, quantity, features, price, product name, manufacturer name, product content, batch number, manufacture and expiration date, instructions for use, storage and disposal, manually mandated information. law, quantity, weight, barcode, etc.

Difference between Packaging and Labeling-2

Imagine how much trouble it would be for the manufacturer if he had to communicate every detail about the product to all the customers. In this way, labels really help them to inform customers about the product.

There are many countries in the world that require labeling, and have certain specifications for labeling. So, even if manufacturers want simple labels, the law requires to add specific information to the labels.
